RLE Immersion was created to bring RLE research groups together, to increase exposure to one another, and to showcase research within RLE in a new and engaging way.
RLE is made up of many diverse research groups which are organized into 7 major research themes. Each month throughout the coming year, a different research theme will be highlighted and a series of events aimed at immersing the community in the theme’s research will be introduced. These events will happen through a collaboration between the faculty coordinators and members of the theme. Working with the RLE HQ Event Committee, the team selects options for their theme events. Each theme has a kick-off celebration—a full lab social, including posters from the 2012 RLE Fair that highlight the groups’ focus. One or more lab-wide activities will take place during the given theme’s month-long period.
